Participating Authors

Kira Decker

The alter ego of Toni Decker telling one sizzling story after another about twenty-somethings getting along in their own crazy, fantastical worlds. One-half of the brain is an avid reader of all things Young and New Adult, while the other half devours Fantasy for midnight snacks. Together, Kira’s stories are one part New Adult, one part Fantasy, and two parts Holy Hotness.

As a kid, I loved reading books about the strange and unusual found in everyday life. The ones you couldn’t quite explain – unless you got creative or supernatural. One day I decided to give voice to all those characters in my head telling me their supernatural adventures, the ones who made me laugh, cry, and cheer for happiness at the end.

I hope you enjoy the stories as much as I enjoy writing them.

Tamara Ferguson

Writing steamy yet sweet compassionate stories of fate that are wonderfully romantic, Tamara Ferguson is the multi-award winning, #1 international and USA Today Bestselling Author of the Tales of the Dragonfly Romance Suspense Series, the Kissed By Fate Series, the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Series, the Daydreams & Dragonflies Sweet Romance Series, and the Tales From Dragonfly Pointe Short Story Series who has won over twenty-five multi-genre awards in the categories of Short Story Fiction, Novellas, Romance, Romantic Suspense, New Adult Romance, Military Romance, Women’s Fiction, Mysteries and Anthology Romance.

A member of the RWA, the Authors’ Billboard and the Independent Authors’ Book Network, her stories have been included in several #1 bestselling anthologies.

Since she remains a full-time caregiver for an autistic son (along with a bunch of adopted pets!), you can usually find Tammy working at home, where she spends a lot of time not completing her numerous home improvement projects, because she’s writing or helping author friends promote their books on twitter.

Jaymee Jacobs

Jaymee Jacobs is the USA Today best-selling author of the Dallas Comets series. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a BA in English literature and a psychology minor. For more information, visit her at www.jaymeejacobs.com.

Miranda Jameson

Miranda Jameson grew up in India immersed in stories of gods, goddesses, elephant-riding princes, and bejewelled princesses. She firmly believes there is magic all around us if we only take a minute to look.

She now lives in North Yorkshire, England, where she translates her passion for art, history, mythology, and travel, into writing action-packed paranormal romances with all the ‘feels’.

She loves honourable badass heroes with undiscovered depths, and smart dauntless heroines who can save themselves.

When not clicking away on her laptop, she runs mum’s taxi service and the bank of mum. In other words, she’s got kids. Coffee, gin, and good friends keep her sane.

Guinevere Jordan

Guinevere Jordan is a NZ author of French origins who writes (and reads) steamy contemporary romance. She lives in a small coastal town with her wife, their children and three cats.

She’s currently in the last year of an arts degree and loves to paint. When she’s not putting her characters through their paces – or maybe it’s the other way round! – she enjoys reading, watching rugby, decorating birthday cakes for her loved ones, and making pretty things with glass beads. Her stories feature men and women, usually over 30, with normal jobs but grand romantic aspirations.

Kallysten

Kallysten’s most exciting accomplishment to date was to cross a few thousand miles and an ocean to pursue the love of her life. She strives to give her characters the same ‘happy ever after’ she found… although their lives are significantly stranger than hers! But whether they have fangs or an inner beast, whether they play with magic or with whips, whether they’re looking for ‘the one’ or a single night of fun, in the end it’s all about love…

She has organized the Shades of Pink event 4 times since 2013.

Tori Knightwood

Tori Knightwood has been lucky enough to live and work in some fabulous exotic places around the world. She faced down angry forest elephants in Tanzania, got a henna tattoo in Kenya, and fell in love in Rwanda. Now a French teacher and mom in Upstate New York, she writes stories to bring a little spice into your life. Find out more about Tori here:

Monica La Porta

USA Today Bestselling Author Monica La Porta landed in Seattle several years ago. Despite popular feelings about the Northwest weather, she finds the mist and the rain the perfect conditions to write.

Amanda Leigh

Amanda Leigh is the multi-genre author of numerous titles, including the Mature YA Paranormal Romance, the Beauty of the Dark series. She’s made up stories all her life, and written them down since she was eight. In college she got her degree in English and Communications, and worked as the Assistant Managing Editor on the literary magazine. Amanda advocates for mental health, cystinosis/rare disease awareness, and literacy. Strength: Lives Touched by Cystinosis is an anthology to raise awareness and money for cystinosis. She has a cat she adores and loves cooking, music, art, Psychology, Marvel, Harry Potter, and Elvis Presley. Not necessarily in that order. Find her online at www.authoramandaleigh.com and feel free to get in touch with her.

Anna Lowe

USA Today and Amazon best selling author Anna Lowe loves putting the “hero” back into heroine and letting location ignite a passionate romance. She loves dogs, sports, and travel – and letting those inspire her fiction. On any given weekend, you might find her hiking in the mountains or hunched over her laptop, working on her latest story – be that travel romance, adventure romance, or paranormal romance. Either way, the day will end with a chunk of dark chocolate and a good read.

Katherine Moore

Born in Washington, D.C., Katherine Moore now lives in a small Pacific Northwest town. She has worked as a food writer, a caterer, and a movie extra as well as a freelance lifestyle reporter and staff writer for magazines in Honolulu, Los Angeles, and Richmond, Virginia.

Angel Nyx

Angel Nyx is an author of paranormal, contemporary, and historical romances. Her passion for literature was instilled in her at a young age when her mother read her fairy tale stories at bedtime. Her vivid imagination helps her get in tune with her characters to bring them to life for her readers. She is also a mom, a reader, an avid gamer chick, and a non-medical in-home caregiver.

She was once told that her ‘OCD is queen’ because it allows her to find errors in written word others miss. As a result, she has recently branched out to offer her proofreading services to other Indie authors.

When she’s not working, writing, reading, or gaming, she is usually relaxing to music, spending time with family, or finding new authors to fall in love with.

She has a long time love affair with the city of New Orleans, which is why so much of her work is set there, and plans to visit the city as often as possible in the coming years.

Aimee Shaye

“I am many things but normal is not one of them,” says Aimee Shaye when asked to describe herself. She is a twenty-three year old novelist whose genres include Dark-Fantasy, Romance, Erotic Romance, Science-Fiction, and Steampunk. When asked what drives her, Aimee says, “The world around me. The people I know. The love I have gained. The pain I have endured.” Though young, Aimee has experienced many things that she believes no one (man or woman) should ever have to endure, and as a result of that she has turned her pain into liquid words that fill the pages of her books, novels, novelettes, and short-stories.

Anna Volkin

Anna Volkin loves fresh starts disguised as new challenges. That’s why she took up writing by storm, as pretty much everything else she’d done. As she takes snippets of inspiration from reality, her brain tricks her into building stories upon them.

Born in the early eighties on the wrong side of the Iron Curtain, she gathered deep cultural influences from both worlds. Currently living in the capital city once known as The Little Paris with her hot-ass, smart-pants husband and their big-mouthed, otherwise lovely daughter, Anna juggles between working as a consultant, being an everyday superhero and writing romance accompanied by the balmy snores of her two dogs.

With a pinch of sass, a spoonful of heat and a dash of humor, her contemporary romances serve up the happy endings her characters deserve.
